The Body as an Instrument: Nurturing the Health and Wellness of Black Music Makers

Published on: 17th November, 2023

On #InternationalPodcastDay (September 30th), Queue Points hosted our first live event at Fit360, 700 Miami Circle, NE in the Buckhead-area of Atlanta. Guests got to join Queue Points for a live podcast taping, and a free work out session!

DJ Sir Daniel and Jay Ray hosted our host for the live, and the owner of Fit360 Fitzroy Smith. Fitz gave us a glimpse into his fitness vision and how he's revolutionizing the way people approach their fitness journeys.

We were also joined by legendary singer, songwriter, activist and Queue Points family, Kipper Jones.  Kipper shares his own personal fitness journey, how he's managed to balance his demanding performances, and even spill some exciting tea about his recent collaboration with none other than Vanessa Williams!

In this episode, we cover everything from the importance of fitness in the Black community to the impact of soul food on our health. We also discuss the mental, physical, and emotional benefits of embracing fitness and share some valuable tips for starting your own fitness journey.
